No, they haven't talked to me at all, ever. I know Andy was out there
last year, along with the JMS's Open Amiga/ICOA initiative (which I
helped to start), so even they didn't before, they definitely know "This
is who we are" now.

No NDA's with them, they haven't told me anything, in or out of cover.
If they're not thinking about hardware development, just software, they
probably have no reason to talk with me. Or maybe they're worried about
PIOS folks knowing their secrets? I can't guess, but clearly, it's
better for your friends to know your secrets, and maybe help you with
them, than plod along in the wrong direction alone. 

I hope they do have someone guiding the whole mess who really is in a
position of understanding to do that correctly. Most of the successes by
folks like Microsoft in this business have come largely because others
did stupid things (Commodore, Apple, etc) while they simply didn't.
