Amiga Inc. announced on Friday at the Computer 98 show 
in Cologne, Germany, that the company QNX (makers of the QNX OS) 
will be their kernel partners for the upcoming AmigaOS 5. QNX claims 
that their OS is the premier realtime OS for PCs, plus it's multiplatform. 
There's no word of this on Amiga Inc's nor QNX's web page yet, but it 
has been verified by 
the Amiga Web Directory News section <http://www.cucug.org/aminew.html>". 
QNX <http://www.qnx.com> is a version of Unix optimized for size 
<http://www.qnx.com/iat/index.html>, and apparently has a nice driver model.
