Alive mediasoft Ltd. 16th January 2000. Since the press release of Elite 3 First Encounters, we have had a few E-Mails demanding answers from questions like "is it PPC?", "will it be graphics card compatible?" well as you all may know, the Alive site as been down for a while, but should be all up and running by Monday, though we are working hard on dedicated web sites for all our new games coming in 2000. As we said at the end of last year, we will support PPC in a big way and we meant it. The Pulse now has two dedicated pages every month with PPC and Warp 3D games. First of all I'll get to the Quake questions: When selling Quake you will get Quake World, Quake 68k, Quake PPC & Quake PPC Warp3D. These are special versions that Alive have converted and let me say that the Warp 3D version is super good! You will get all this for just £20! And what of this new game? YES the one we keep going on about... well we will be releasing a big press release where we hope we can answer all your questions. Now Elite 3.... I never liked the first one personally, but when we got the call saying do you want to covert it to the Amiga I jumped at the chance. I spoke to one of our guys how is coverting it and all seems to be going well.![]()

These are the same people who are doing the Descent 2 coversion. Now the big question... "will it be PPC?" errrrr I can confirm that it will support PPC and Warp3D, but at this time I do not know what the requirements will be. However, it will be 68k support and maybe AGA supported, we will have to see. One other game I would like to tell you about is Home Land. A nice new real time strategy game that Alive will be publishing in the fist quarter of 2000. A new demo will be out soon.
