Other than mentioned in the announced plans, there most likely
won't be any MorphOS versions of the akDatatypes. Here are
the reasons:
1. I don't have enough time, since I'm involved with other
projects (non-spare-time projects to be precisely).
2. The datatypes currently support many platforms, but
the source tree needs quite some rework to be cross-
compileable with GCC (or VBCC) instead of SAS/C,
since SAS/C is no choice for MorphOS and even no
longer the best choice for PPCLib.
3. Getting other programmers into the boat could help
(i.e. creating a CVS repository and open the source
to a closed group of people), but there's most likely
not enough interest.
4. The Warp datatypes already were ported to MorphOS
and they're free.
5. No one cares to register ak Datatypes at the moment
anymore, so this is a clear evidence, too.
Hereby it is recommended, that MorphOS users migrate to
the Warp datatypes.
It's possible, that other programs of me get ported
or adjusted for MorphOS. However, nothing will be
announced until actually available.
Thanks for your support in the past.
